The Hope Chest for Breast Cancer® vision is to provide hope to those, in particular, the underserved, touched by breast cancer. This hope manifests itself through early detection education that is culturally appropriate and affordable; care for those with limited financial resources; hospice-care for those who have lost the breast cancer battle; and research into the cure.
Hope Chest provides this hope via an ongoing, sustainable revenue stream to the Foundation from a chain of retail stores and synergistic fundraising programs. The sustainability is ensured through the generation of revenue for all three of the business model stakeholders: the Franchisees, the Foundation, and the Franchisor.
A critical success factor is our unrelenting focus on high-quality goods and excellent service while creating a unique, fun environment in which to donate, shop, volunteer and partner. All founded in an overriding passion driven by the legacy of those who have experienced breast cancer.
