Living With Breast Cancer:  An Educational Conference

REGISTER TODAY for the seventh annual Breast Cancer Awareness Conference, Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.  This annual conference is a forum where specialists and breast health experts provide the latest information on breast cancer prevention, treatment and survivorship issues.  This Conference was created by two survivors, Ann Harris and Lois Joseph, to fulfill a desperate need for a broad range of cutting edge information about breast health.  In a supportive, inspiring, and non-threatening environment, Living With Breast Cancer provides the education and resources desired by a growing number of people as breast cancer touches more and more lives.

The day begins with a light breakfast followed by a plenary session:  The Environment, Diet and Breast Cancer:  Take Charge of Your Health. For the remainder of the morning, participants choose two 75-minute seminars to attend from the twelve offered this year Every one will reconvene for lunch and our inspiring Sense of Style Show, featuring 20 breast cancer survivors walking the runway and sharing the stories of their journey through breast cancer.  Following lunch, all are welcome to meet conference presenters, mingle with others affected by breast cancer, and collect breast health information in the Resource Center from more than 30 vendors, including Hope Chest for Breast Cancer.
